Sausage and cannellini bean casserole recipe

Ingredients 1 tbsp olive oil 8 reduced-fat pork sausages 1 onion, finely chopped 1 celery stick, finely chopped 1 carrot, peeled and finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped 400g tin chopped tomatoes 400ml chicken stock (made up with ½ stock cube) 1 tsp smoked paprika 400g tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed 100g sliced greens Method Heat the oil in a large, lidded nonstick frying pan or flameproof casserole dish over a medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook for 5 mins, turning frequently, until browned all over. Remove from the pan and set aside on a plate. Add the onion, celery, carrot and garlic to the pan. Cook over a medium-high heat for 10 mins until softened and lightly golden. Return the sausages to the pan along with the tinned tomatoes, stock and smoked paprika. Season lightly and stir. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 mins until the sauce has thickened slightly. Stir in the beans and greens, then cover and simmer

Jacket potatoes and chilli are great comfort food when the nights draw in. Make ours in the week when you're short on time for a nutritious family dinner Ingredients 4 large jacket potatoes 1 tbsp sunflower oil 2 red onions, chopped 3 garlic cloves, crushed 1 sachet (30-39g), chilli con carne seasoning mix 500g beef mince 100g smoked bacon lardons 2 tbsp tomato purée 400g can chopped tomatoes 400g can black beans, drained soured cream, grated cheese and coriander leaves, to serve Method 1. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Prick the potatoes all over with a fork, then put on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 1 hr. 2. While the potatoes are baking, heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and fry over a high heat for 5 mins until softened. Add the garlic and chilli sachet. Easy to Make Dosa Recipe

Dosa (crispy, savory pancakes) from South India is a staple food in its home region. In the rest of the country too, Dosas are hugely popular and Udipi restaurants serving them and other South Indian foods can be found in almost every suburb! Learn how to make them with my easy recipe. This recipe will make approximately 20 dosas. Ingredients 3 cups rice 1 cup urad daal (split, skinless black gram) 3/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds Salt (to taste) Vegetable / canola / sunflower cooking oil Steps to Make It Gather the ingredients. Wash the rice and urad daal well. Add the fenugreek seeds to the mix and fill enough water in the rice-daal bowl to cover them about 2-inch deep. Soak overnight. Soaking rice for dosas.
